The Side Project Cellar's 2-year Anniversary is Nov. 11, 2016! We thought we'd celebrate by tapping delicious Side Project kegs all week long! Here is the tapping schedule for our Anniversary Week:
Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 6pm: Side Project Längst
Längst is our Bourbon barrel-aged Adambier - a historic, strong, malty German ale that was brewed with 7 different German malts and fermented with a fruity yeast strain. Längst was aged for 15 months in a variety of bourbon barrels.
Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 6pm: Side Project Double Barrel Derivation
Double Barrel Derivation is our Imperial Stout aged for 2 years in 12-year-old Willett Bourbon barrels, and it was then racked to Port Wine barrels for a second maturation of 3 months.
Thursday, Nov. 10th at 6pm: Side Project Smooth
Smooth is our Missouri Wild Ale that was fermented in and aged in a French Oak foedre with Missouri microflora for 2 years. Once mature, it was racked on to Missouri Nectarines from the same farm where we get our White Peaches for Fuzzy.
Friday, Nov. 11th at 5pm: Side Project 3 Candles
Just like 1 Candle and 2 Candles, 3 Candles is a Bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout with unique flavors that are best enjoyed still, or with no carbonation. More info about 3 Candles will be released next week!
Saturday, Nov. 12th at 1pm: Side Project / Off Color Collaboration "Fancier Beer"
La Bière de Fantaisie or "Fancier Beer" is brewed with our friends at Off Color Brewing in Chicago. It is a blend of several puncheon-fermented Saisons fermented with Side Project Saison yeast and Off Color wild yeast.
We will have a some other surprises during the week too. We look forward to celebrating with you! Thank you for 2 wonderful years and cheers to many more!
